Nobody Looks at This Anymore, but There's Always Hope...

Well, I have a lot of explaining to do. To my dedicated (if few) readers, I have been so busy (and lazy) lately, I can't seem to get any blogging done. Starting Jr. High, and surviving the first month or so of it is a miracle in itself. Please, be grateful I'm still alive. I've learned several things in the past few weeks:

1. Never trust a middle school guy, unless you know it's safe to (very hard to determine)
2. Language Arts teachers are either awesome or not, in my case, awesome.
3. When a teacher was once a Marine, that's probably not a good thing. (We love you Mr. Baker!)
4. Cussing isn't scandalous anymore. It's something you hear all the time.
5. Just because your school is the "Ghetto" school, doesn't mean you can't have a totally awesome academic team.
6. If a school wins at everything, that just means it will be even more awesome when someone finally beats them. (No offense to my Lakeside friends, but all winning streaks come to an end.)
7. If a football player joins Band, they're more than likely going to end up playing the tuba.
8. Hot chocolate is a gift from God.
9. Any bad day can be cured by said gift from God, British television, an old original series Star Trek rerun, and a good Sherlock Holmes story.

I do not mean to insult anyone with this. I'm just stating my observations of what a harsh world Jr. High can be. I'm glad to be back, and hopefully will be more responsible with my blogging duties. My apologies to those who looked at this constantly and lost hope that I'd ever post again. I'm back, and I plan to stay that way.
