Sorry I haven't posted in, like, forever. We had to get a new computer. My world has been through a major change. The beginning of swimming season. There is truly NOTHING better than diving into a pool of usually cold water. Splashing everyone and just having a good time. Three questions that (once answered) could potentially change the world:
1. Why do adults fight over things kids can figure out easily?
2. Why do people enjoy horror movies?
3. How do they get jelly inside a jelly-filled doughnut?
If anybody knows answers to these questions send me a comment. To comment there is a link that says No Comments. Once someone comments it will probably say something like 1 Comment. The link is located at the bottom of every post.
Allie, some thoughts on your questions:
ReplyDelete(1) There is no easy answer to your first question, but I think that issues adults fight over are actually more complicated than they seem to kids, and part of becoming an adult is learning to see all the nuances of situations that seem simple when you're younger. That's not to say that there aren't things that kids can and do figure out easier than adults. It probably depends. Did you have a specific situation in mind?
(2) I don't enjoy all horror movies, but I do like them some of them. Reasons why are that it's easy to know who the good guys and bad guys are in most horror movies, and many horror movies are as silly as they are scary.
(3) I don't know how they get jelly inside a jelly-filled doughnut. I imagine it involves some kind of squirt gun. This one would probably be pretty easy to answer if you're willing to ask an employee the next time you're at a doughnut shop!
Enjoy the start of summer!
Keri, world peace is an issue that would be easy to solve if all the leaders in the world would just sit down and talk.
ReplyDeleteAllie, when I was a girl scout I once visited Dunkin Donuts back when they actually made the donuts in the store. We filled them with jelly!!! There is this machine that holds the jelly and there is a pipe at the bottom that you shove the donut on and then it dispenses the jelly. Search "jelly donut filler" on Google images and you will see it! I do believe that some people put too much and it oozed out every where. By the way, I hate jelly donuts.
